Fake Experience

Employers are in the process of transitioning from seeing software development as a skilled profession to seeing it as being simply a clerical vocation.
"Proxy interviews" are contributing to that transition.
In the field of software development, it is quite common for candidates with fake experience to apply for jobs.
Ah, but if a candidate has fake experience, how does he or she make it through the interview?
Candidates on their own, or body shops representing them, will find people to perform telephone or video interviews for them.
The widespread use of proxy interviews makes labor seem even more plentiful than it otherwise would be.

You may even come across advertisements for agencies and body shops looking for people to take interviews on behalf of other people.
You may or may not get paid for your effort.
If such organizations are fine with scamming employers, they might even be fine with scamming you as well.

Conclusion

If you are particularly naive, you might think that you as a worker have standing to complain to "someone" regarding people with fake experience using proxy interviews.
From the point of employers, by helping crush labor, people with fake experience using proxy interviews have far greater value than any one individual contributor with actual experience.
