U.S. Customs Themed Scam

This web page will address a U.S. Customs themed U.S.P.S. phishing text that I received.

The screenshot below is of a text that I received.
The scammer is trying to socially engineer recipients into opening the website "https://uspsiaunty.shop".

DO NOT OPEN THE SCAM WEBSITE

Nothing good can come from opening a scam website.
Opening the website might even download malware onto your device.
When you receive a text such as the example being presented in this web page, you may feel compelled to text back a stream of expletives.
Please resist that urge.
The number shown as the sender may or may not be accurate.
The scammer could have spoofed a different number, in which case you would be texting back to some random person unconnected with the fishing text.
Even if the sender's number is accurate, all that texting back can achieve is to let the scammer know that his or her message has been read.
The text message presented on this web page was clearly a scam.
Scams will not always be as obvious as this text.
What makes this particular scam so obvious?
If you search the internet for "delivery scams", you should get many results back.
